Day01
Arusha to the crater rim
Up through Mto wa Mbu and the escarpment, on to the rim by early afternoon, and the first view of the caldera.

Day02
The crater floor
First light on the descent road and a full morning on the floor — Lerai forest, Munge stream, the Magadi shore. Up before the crowds.

Day03
Oldupai, then the plains
The gorge in the morning, with the museum and the excavation sites, then down onto the short-grass plains and into the park.

Day04
Seronera Valley
A full day on the river circuit and the kopjes: the most reliable predator country in the park, worked properly.

Day05
South, or wherever is working
Toward the Ndutu and Kusini country if the herds are there, or back to the valley if the valley is better. Your guide decides on the morning.

Day06
Last full day
A dawn drive, a slow middle, and a final evening on the plains.

Day07
The road home
First light, breakfast, then out through Naabi Hill and back to Arusha — or the midday flight, if you would rather not repeat the drive.
