Day01
Arusha to the crater rim
A short travel day so the first evening is not wasted. Rim light at sunset is the best landscape opportunity of the week.

Day02
Crater floor at first light
First vehicle down. Mist on the floor, low side light, and a full morning before the haze builds.

Day03
Into the Serengeti
Down through Oldupai and onto the plains, arriving in Seronera for the afternoon light. Kopje work at sunset.

Day04
Seronera: cats
Dawn and dusk on the river circuit for leopard and lion, with a long midday break for backup, editing and sleep.

Day05
Whatever we found
The day is set the night before, around the best sighting of the trip so far. If that means six hours at one tree, that is the day.

Day06
Final dawn, then home
One more first light on the plains, then the drive or the midday flight back to Arusha.
